No Start/Normal Crank
CAUTION:
Extended cranking can cause damage to catalytic converter. After repairing NO START condition, disconnect fuel injector connectors and crank engine until excessive fuel is purged from exhaust system (absence of fuel odor in exhaust system).
- Check no start concerns. See CIRCUIT TEST A in the TESTS W/CODES article.
- Check engine compression and overall mechanical condition. Check condition of timing belt, camshaft and valves.
- Check fuel delivery system. See CIRCUIT TEST HC in the TESTS W/CODES article.
