Brake Booster Assembly: Installation

  1. Position booster against firewall. Install and tighten mounting nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Position master cylinder onto mounting studs. Tighten mounting nuts to specification. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Tighten fittings to specification. Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM . Operate brakes several times. Check for leaks.
