Power Window Motor: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1997 Ford Ranger and 1997 Ford Aerostar. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining screws to 53-80 INCH lbs. (6-9 N.m). Remove prop holding window glass up. Install 2 pieces of waterproof pressure sensitive tape over drilled holes.
  2. Reconnect window motor connector. Reconnect negative battery cable. Test window operation. Ensure door drain holes are open and reinstall door trim panel.
