All Power Windows Inoperative
- Power Window Function Test - Turn ignition on. Test all windows. If all power windows operate, system is functioning normally. If any window fails to operate, go to next step.
- Check Yellow/Light Green Wire - Remove and disconnect master switch. Measure voltage between ground and Yellow/Light Green wire at master switch connector. If battery voltage is present, go to step 4). If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
- Check Yellow/Light Green Wire For Short - Remove 20-amp circuit breaker No. 14 from instrument panel fuse box. Measure resistance between output side of 20-amp circuit breaker No. 14 and ground. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, repair open in Yellow/Light Green wire and retest. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Yellow/Light Green wire and retest.
- Check Ground Circuit - Measure resistance between ground and both Black wires at master switch connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace master switch and retest. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire(s) in question and retest.
