Test B - Single Mirror Inoperative

  1. Test inoperative mirror motor. See MIRROR MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror functions properly, go to next step. If mirror does not function properly, replace mirror assembly.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect mirror switch connector. Disconnect inoperative power mirror motor connector. Measure resistance of all wires between mirror switch connector and mirror motor connector. If all resistances are less than 5 ohms, replace inoperative power mirror assembly. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in wire in question. See WIRING DIAGRAM  .
