Wiper Switch

NOTE: Wiper switch is an integral part of multifunction switch and cannot be serviced separately. Multifunction switch is serviced as a complete unit.

Disconnect multifunction switch connector under steering column. Measure resistance between specified terminals. See WIPER SWITCH RESISTANCE TABLE. See Fig 1 . Replace multifunction switch if resistance is not as specified.

Interval (MIN) 2 & 3 (3) 3300
(1) Resistance may vary by as much as 10 percent.
(2) Continuity should exist.
(3) Resistance should vary smoothly between specified limits as knob is rotated between MIN and MAX positions.
