  2. Turn ignition off. Inspect nozzles and hoses for blockage. kinks or obstructions. If problems are found, repair nozzles and/or hoses as necessary. If no problems are found, replace washer pump and retest system.
  3. Disconnect washer pump connector. Turn ignition on. Press washer switch. Measure voltage between ground and Black/White wire at washer pump connector. If battery voltage does not exist, go step 5). If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
  4. Measure resistance of Black wire between washer pump connector and ground. resistance Is 5 ohms or less exists, replace washer pump. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire. After repair, retest system.
  5. Test wipers for proper operation. If wipers operate normally, go to next step. If wipers do not operate, go to TEST C: WIPERS INOPERATIVE.
  6. Turn ignition off. Measure resistance of Black/White wire between washer pump connector and ground. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to step 8).
  7. Disconnect Interval Wiper/Washer Module (IWWM) connector. IWWM is located behind instrument panel, to left of steering column. Measure resistance of Black/White wire between IWWM connector and washer pump connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace IWWM. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Black/White wire.
  8. Press and hold washer switch. Measure resistance between Brown/White and Dark Blue/White wires at IWWM wiring harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace IWWM. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace multifunction switch. After repair, retest system.
