One-Touch Down Feature Inoperative

  1. Check Driver's Window Operation  - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Operate driver's window in UP and DOWN positions. If driv-er's window operates properly, go to next step. If driver's window does not operate properly, go to SINGLE POWER WINDOW INOPERATIVE.
  2. Check One-Touch Down PID  - Using NGS tester, access driver's door module OTD_SW PID. Press left window switch in DOWN position. If OTD_SW PID does not change from OFF to DOWN, go to next step. If OTD_SW PID changes from OFF to DOWN, replace driver's door module. Retest system.
  3. Check Red Wire For Open  - Disconnect master window switch 4-pin connector. Disconnect driver's door module 22-pin connector. Measure resistance in Red wire between driver's door module 22-pin connector and master switch 4-pin connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace master switch. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Red wire. Retest system.
