Test D - Up/Down Tilt Movement Inoperative

Turn ignition off. Disconnect tilt motor connector. Apply battery voltage to Red wire terminal, and ground Red/White wire terminal. Seat should tilt down. Apply battery voltage to Red/White wire terminal, and ground Red wire terminal. Seat should tilt up. If motor functions properly, replace seat control switch and housing. If motor does not operate properly, replace motor.
