Delayed Accessory Feature Will Not Remain On For 10 Minutes

- Driver's Door Module (DDM) Continuous DTC Check - Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Enter OUTPUT DATA LINK. Enter DDM (Driver Door Module). Enter OUTPUT TEST MODE. Retrieve continuous DTC. If DTC U1135 is not displayed, go to next step. If DTC U1135 is displayed, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.
- Delayed Accessory Period Test - Close all doors. Turn ignition on then off. Test radio and power windows. If radio and power windows do not operate, go to next step. If radio and power windows operate, system is okay at this time.
- Driver's Door Input Test - Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Enter DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK. Enter DDM (Driver Door Module). Enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD. Select PID D_DR_DD (Driver's Door Ajar Status-DDM). Press start button. Close driver's door. If PID does not indicate door is ajar, go to next step. If PID indicates door is ajar, repair open in Dark Blue wire between DDM driver's door ajar switch (located in door jamb).
- Passenger's Door Input Test - Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Enter DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK. Enter LCM (Lighting Control Module). Enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD. Select PID P_DR_LC (Passenger's Door Ajar Status-LCM). Press start button. Close passenger doors. If PID does not indicate door is ajar, go to next step. If PID indicates door is ajar, repair open in Black/Orange wire(s) between suspect door ajar switch (located in door jamb) and LCM (located under left side of dash).
- Passenger's Door Information To DDM Test - Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Enter DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK. Enter DDM (Driver Door Module). Enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD. Select PID P_DR_DD (Passenger's Door Ajar Status-DDM). Press start button. Close passenger's door. If passenger's door PID indicates a door is ajar, replace DDM and retest system. If passenger's door PID does not indicate a door is ajar, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.
