Test D: All Door Locks Operate From One Switch Only

  1. Disconnect inoperative door lock switch. Test door lock switch. See DOOR LOCK SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If left door lock switch is inoperative, go to next step. If right door lock switch is inoperative, go to step 3). If switch is not okay, replace switch.
  2. Measure resistance between ground and master window/door lock switch harness connector Black wire. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Blue or Gray wire between master window/door lock switch harness connector and door lock relay connector. See WIRING DIAGRAM  . If resistance is not less than 5 ohms, repair Black wire between master window/door lock switch harness connector and ground.
  3. Measure resistance between ground and right window/door lock switch harness connector Black wire. See Fig 2 . Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Blue or Gray wire between right window/door lock switch harness connector and door lock relay connector. See WIRING DIAGRAM  . If resistance is not less than 5 ohms, repair Black wire between right window/door lock switch harness connector and ground.
