  1. Lock all doors from interior door lock switches. If all door locks except liftgate operate properly, go to next step. If any door locks other than liftgate do not lock properly, go to PINPOINT TEST C  .
  2. Disconnect liftgate lock actuator connector. Measure resistance of Pink/Orange wire between liftgate lock actuator connector and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, do to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to step 5).
  3. Disconnect liftgate unlock relay. Measure resistance between liftgate unlock relay terminals No. 87A and 30 (Pink/Orange wire at both terminals). See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, replay relay and retest system.
  4. Measure resistance of Pink/Orange wire between liftgate lock actuator connector and unlock relay connector terminal No. 30. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair open in Pink/Orange wire between liftgate relay connector terminal No. 87 and door unlock relay connector terminal No. 30. Retest system. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Pink/Orange wire between liftgate relay connector and liftgate lock actuator connector. Retest system.
  5. Measure resistance in Pink/Black wire between ground and liftgate lock actuator connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace liftgate lock actuator and retest system. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Pink/Black wire and retest system.
