Motor Test

  1. Remove door trim panel. Disconnect motor lead. Disconnect regulator mechanism from motor.
  2. Supply power to motor lead connector with an ammeter in series. Operate motor and observe current draw. Current draw for no-load test should not exceed 4 amps and should not fluctuate.
  3. Reversal of motor wire connections will reverse direction of motor rotation. Replace motor if current draw exceeds 4 amps.
