Anti-Theft Systems - Active: Programming: Transmitter
- Turn ignition switch to RUN or ACC position. Remove left luggage compartment trim panel. Locate 2-pin connector attached to relay mounting panel. Using jumper wire, momentarily short these 2 terminals together. Both doors should lock and unlock. Remove jumper wire.
- Press any button on keyless entry remote transmitter. Both doors should lock and unlock to verify transmitter has been programmed. If doors do not lock and unlock, press button again (3 times maximum on same transmitter). If doors still do not lock and unlock, go to SYSTEM TESTS.
- Repeat step 2) to program a maximum of 4 additional transmitters. Turn ignition off. To verify transmitter programming, horn will sound and parking lights will flash.
