Preliminary Checks

Check battery connections. Check starter relay connections. Check all fuse/fuse links. On A/T vehicles, ensure gearshift lever is in Park position. On M/T vehicles, ensure clutch is fully depressed. On all vehicles, if vehicle is equipped with anti-theft system, ensure system is deactivated.
