Symptom Checks

Perform the following:

• When ignition is turned on, fuel pump should run for about 5 seconds then shut off. If fuel pump does not shut off, go to FUEL PUMP ALWAYS ON  symptom.
• Check EVAP system. Go to CIRCUIT TEST HX, step 44) in appropriate article:
