Ignition Switch: Installation

  1. Ensure actuator pin slot in ignition switch is in RUN position. Turn lock cylinder to START position and release. This sets lock cylinder in RUN position.
  2. Install ignition switch. Ensure actuator pin engages slot in switch. Connect ignition switch electrical connector. Connect negative battery cable. Test ignition switch operation. Install upper shroud. Mount steering column to column mounting bracket. Install lower shroud.
