Test C: Passenger Window Does Not Operate (All Other Windows Operate)
- Check Light Blue/Black Wire For Voltage - Turn ignition off. Remove and disconnect passenger window switch connector C602. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 3 (Light Blue/Black wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair Light Blue/Black wire. Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
- Check White/Yellow & Tan/Light Blue Wires - Turn ignition off. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 4 (White/Yellow wire). Check resistance between ground and passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 2 (Tan/Light Blue wire). If resistances are 14 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistances are less than 14 ohms, go to step 4).
- Check White/Yellow & Tan/Light Blue Wires For Open - Turn ignition switch off. Remove and disconnect master window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance in White/Yellow wire between master window switch connector C502 terminal No. 4 and passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 4. Check resistance in Tan/Light Blue wire between master window switch connector C502 terminal No. 1 and passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 2. If resistances are less than 5 ohms, replace master window switch. Clear DTCs and retest system operation. If resistances are 5 ohms or more, repair open in White/Yellow or Tan/Light Blue wire(s). Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
- Check Passenger Window Switch Down Direction - Connect jumper wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminals No. 4 (White/Yellow wire) and No. 1 (Yellow/Red wire). Connect another jumper wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminals No. 3 (Light Blue/Black wire) and No. 5 (Red/Yellow wire). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If passenger window operates in DOWN direction, replace inoperative window switch. Clear DTCs and retest system operation. If passenger window does not operate in DOWN direction, remove jumper wires and go to next step.
- Check Passenger Window Switch Up Direction - Turn ignition off. Connect jumper wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminals No. 5 (Red/Yellow wire) and No. 2 (Tan/Light Blue wire). Connect another jumper wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminals No. 1 (Yellow/Red wire) and No. 3 (Light Blue/Black wire). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If passenger window operates in UP direction, replace inoperative window switch. Clear DTCs and retest system operation. If passenger window does not operate in UP direction, remove jumper wires and go to next step.
- Check Yellow/Red Wire For Open - Turn ignition off. Disconnect passenger door window motor connector C604. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance in Yellow/Red wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 1 and passenger door window motor connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Yellow/Red wire. Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
- Check Red/Yellow Wire For Open - Using an ohmmeter, check resistance in Red/Yellow wire between passenger window switch connector C602 terminal No. 5 and passenger window motor connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace passenger door window motor. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Red/Yellow wire. Clear DTCs and retest system operation.
