Test H: Semi-Active Ride Control (SARC) Module Does Not Respond To NGS Tester
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect SARC module 16-pin connector C451 located in right side of luggage compartment. Inspect connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Repair connector as necessary and retest system for normal operation. If connector is okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect 38-pin connector C214 located behind left side of instrument panel. See Figure. Inspect connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Repair connector as necessary and retest system for normal operation. If connector is okay, go to next step.
- Measure resistance of Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 2 at female half of connector C214 and terminal No. 7 at DLC. See Figure and Figure. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Light Blue/White wire between female half of connector C214 and DLC. Retest system for normal operation.
- Measure resistance of Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 2 at male half of connector C214 and terminal No. 29 at SARC module connector C451. See Figure and Fig 1. If both resistance readings are less than 5 ohms, replace SARC module. Retest system for normal operation. If any resistance reading is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Tan/Orange wire and/or Pink/Light Blue wire between male half of connector C214 and SARC module connector C451. Retest system for normal operation.
