Check Down Input

- Ensure ignition is off. Turn ignition off. Disconnect GEM 22-pin connector C234 (located behind instrument panel, on left side of steering column). Using a voltmeter, check for voltage between ground and GEM connector C234 terminal No. 12 (Yellow wire) while pressing driver door master window switch left front window to DOWN position. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, clear GEM DTCs and repeat GEM self-test. If DTC B1404 is retrieved, replace GEM and retest system operation. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Yellow wire and retest system operation.
