Test E: DTC 2425

  1. Press any key on inoperative remote 4 times consecutively. If remote transmitter operates properly, clear DTC's and retest. If remote transmitter does not operate properly, go to next step.
  2. Check to see if another remote transmitter that works with vehicle is available. If another remote transmitter for vehicle is available, go to next step. If another remote transmitter is not available for vehicle, go to step  4
  3. Press any button on operational remote transmitter for vehicle. Within 30 seconds, press any button on inoperative remote transmitter and check for proper operation. If previously inoperative remote transmitter is now operating properly, clear DTC's and retest. If remote transmitter is still not operating properly, go to next step.
  4. Program remote transmitter. See TRANSMITTER  under PROGRAMMING. If remote transmitter operates properly, clear DTC's and all additional transmitters for vehicle will need to be reprogrammed, since they will no longer work. If remote transmitter does not operate properly, go to TEST A: ALL DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERATIVE (DRIVER'S DOOR ONLY REMOTE SYSTEM)
