Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

  2. Remove the cable separator clip.

  3. NOTE: Make sure cable is routed into clips during reinstallation.

  4. Remove the accelerator cable fitting from the accelerator cable bracket and the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable clip on the LH shock tower and air cleaner housing.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal. For additional information, refer to PEDAL .
  6. Depress the accelerator lock tabs and disconnect the accelerator cable from the dash panel. Push the accelerator cable into the engine compartment and remove the accelerator cable.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
