Security Access

NOTE: DO NOT disconnect NGS tester during this procedure or procedure will have to be started over from beginning.

Connect NGS tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Insert Ford Service Function (FSF) card in NGS tester. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Enter PCM. Select SECURITY ACCESS. Wait 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, a new menu will be displayed with command options (IGNITION KEY CODE ERASE or SPARE KEY PROGRAMMING SWITCH). Select desired function. Once NGS tester exists this menu, security access procedure must be carried out again to carry out additional commands.
