Removal and Installation

WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM .

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to GENERATOR AND REGULATOR .
Install the special tool.

Remove the oil filter and discard.
- Lubricate the new oil filter O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation.

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Remove the LH and RH lower engine mount nuts.
- To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
Using the special tool, raise the engine.

Remove the 3 LH engine mount bolts.
- To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
Remove the LH engine mount.

WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM .

To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
