The safety belt minder feature does not operate correctly	Safety belt minder deactivated	ACTIVATE the safety belt minder. REFER to SAFETY BELT MINDER .
The safety belt minder feature does not operate correctly	Lighting control module (LCM)	VERIFY the safety belt warning chime operation. If the safety belt warning chime operates correctly, INSTALL a new LCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation. If the safety belt warning chime does not operate correctly, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
The key-in-ignition warning chime is inoperative	Fuse Circuitry Key-in-ignition warning switch (part of the ignition switch) Lighting control module (LCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
The air bag warning chime does not operate correctly	Lighting control module (LCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
The door ajar warning chime does not operate correctly	Circuitry Luggage compartment lid latch Lighting control module (LCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
The chime sounds when the driver door is ajar (no key in ignition and headlamps off)	Circuitry Key-in-ignition warning switch (part of the ignition switch) Lighting control module (LCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
The turn signal on warning chime is inoperative	Turn signal on warning chime function disabled Lighting control module (LCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
The message center warning chime is inoperative	Lighting control module (LCM)	CHECK that the message center operates correctly. If the message center does not operate correctly, REFER to INFORMATION AND MESSAGE CENTER to continue diagnosis of the message center. If the message center operates correctly, INSTALL a new LCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
The fail safe cooling warning chime is inoperative (the temperature gauge is in the HOT range and the engine coolant over temperature warning indicator is illuminated)	Lighting control module (LCM)	INSTALL a new LCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation. If the condition is still present, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . TEST the system for normal operation.
