Cylinder Block Distortion

Use a straight edge and a feeler gauge to inspect the cylinder block for flatness.
- For additional information, refer to the General Specification chart in the appropriate engine article.
- If out of specification, install a new short block assembly. Refer to the appropriate article for the procedure.
