Removal and Installation

All vehicles
NOTE:
The accelerator pedal and sensor assembly on the 2.5L and 3.0L are similar in appearance to the 2.5L Hybrid but are not interchangeable.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
BATTERY DISCONNECT
.
2.5L and 3.0L vehicles
- Remove the 3 self-tapping screws and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
2.5L Hybrid vehicles
- Remove the 3 bolts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
All vehicles
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
