Piston - Diameter

  1. Measure the piston diameter 90 degrees from the piston pin and 42 mm down from the top of the piston at the point indicated. For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
    • If out of specification, install new components as necessary. For 2.0L Zetec engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 2.0L ZETEC . For 3.0L (4V) engine procedure see appropriate section in ENGINE - 3.0L (4V) .
