Rear Wheel Speed Sensor and Sensor Ring

NOTE: Clean off all dirt and foreign material that may have collected around the rear anti-lock brake sensor before removal.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position on a hoist. For additional information, refer to LIFTING .
Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 4: Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Removal Note

Remove the rear wheel speed sensor harness from the upper control arm clip.

Item 5: Wheel Speed Sensor Ring Removal Note

The wheel speed sensor ring is not serviceable and must be replaced as part of the rear halfshaft assembly. For additional information, refer to DRIVELINE SYSTEM .
