Memory Adjustable Pedal Operation
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Mercury Monterey and 2004 Ford Freestar. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The power adjustable pedal memory feature stores the current accelerator and brake pedal positions and recalls the previously stored pedal positions for a specified driver as requested by the personality feature. The adjustable pedals with memory feature:
- retains two separate driver pedal positions.
- updates the retained pedal position when that driver personality is stored.
- moves the pedal to the retained pedal position when that driver personality is recalled.
- stops pedal movement when any manual actuation of the adjustable pedal switch occurs while memory recall is moving the pedal.
