The audio unit is inoperative/does not operate correctly	Circuitry. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST A .
Poor reception	Antenna. Antenna connections. Noise suppression equipment. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST B .
Continuous SEEK/SCAN in AM/FM	Antenna. Antenna connections. Noise suppression equipment. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST B .
Poor quality/distorted sound from one or more speakers (not all speakers)	Speaker(s). Circuitry. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST C .
Poor quality/distorted sound from all speakers	Audio unit.	If the audio unit illuminates Go To PINPOINT TEST C . If the audio unit does not illuminate, REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation.
No sound from one or more of the speakers (not all speakers)	Speaker(s). Circuitry. Audio unit.	Go To PINPOINT TEST C .
No sound from all speakers	Audio unit.	If the audio unit illuminates Go To PINPOINT TEST C . If the audio unit does not illuminate REMOVE the audio unit and SEND it to an authorized repair facility. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . TEST the system for normal operation.
The auxiliary audio control is inoperative/does not operate correctly - steering wheel control switches	Circuitry. Audio unit. Steering wheel control switches. Clockspring. PCM.	Go To PINPOINT TEST D .
The video system does not operate correctly - no picture	Disc. DVD unit.	PRESS the source button (screen is blank in auxiliary module with no video source connected). TEST the system for normal operation. If the concern is still present, INSTALL a new DVD unit. Refer to DIGITAL VERSATILE DISC (DVD) PLAYER . TEST the system for normal operation.
The video system is inoperative/does not operate correctly	Circuitry. Video system.	Go To PINPOINT TEST E .
The video system does not operate correctly - remote control does not function correctly	Video system.	INSTALL new batteries in the remote control. If the concern is still present, CONTACT an authorized audio repair facility for further diagnostic test procedures.
