Brake Pedal: Notes

    NOTE: When removing the adjustable pedal assembly, make sure that the pedals are adjusted to the full forward position.
  1. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). For additional information, refer to DISABLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 

    PARTS SPECIFICATION

    Part Steps
    Adjustable pedal assembly 1-12
    Adjustable pedal motor 1-14
    Fixed pedal assembly 2-8, 12

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  4. Inspect the brake system for correct operation.
