Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) consists of the following components:
- hydraulic control unit (HCU)
- ABS module
- rear anti-lock brake sensor
- rear anti-lock brake sensor ring (integral to the ring gear)
- front wheel anti-lock brake sensors
- front wheel anti-lock brake sensor ring (integral to the hub and bearing assembly)
- yellow ABS warning indicator
- brake pressure sensor (also called speed control deactivator switch) (ABS only)
