Control Arm: Installation

Position control arm into subframe, and install mounting bolts. Ensure threads on bolts face down. Install Powertrain Alignment Gauge (T94P-6000-AH) in place of front engine mount. See Fig 1. Install right and rear engine mounts. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check and adjust front end alignment as necessary. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.

NOTE: Control arm bushings must be replaced with control arm as an assembly.

To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure threads on control arm bolts face down. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check and adjust front end alignment as necessary. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
