Test C: Both Windows Completely Inoperative
- Remove and disconnect driver's door master window switch harness connector C503. Measure voltage at terminal No. 19 (Yellow/Light Green wire) at driver's door master switch harness connector C503. See Fig 1
. If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step. If battery voltage exists, go to step 3
.
- Remove circuit breaker No. 14 (20-amp) from instrument panel fuse box. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 19 (Yellow/Light Green wire) at driver's door master switch harness connector C503. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, repair open in Yellow/Light Green wire. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Yellow/Light Green wire.
- Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 13 (Black wire) at driver's door master window switch connector C503. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace driver's door master window switch. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire.
