Generic Electronic Module: Notes
CAUTION:
Disconnect battery before disconnecting Generic Electronic Module (GEM) connectors. Failure to do so will result in GEM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation of GEM after reconnecting.
NOTE:
GEM must be configured upon replacement. Refer to NGS tester help screen on Ford Service Function (FSF) card to program tire size and axle ratio.
