Trouble Shooting

NOTE: See TROUBLE SHOOTING article in GENERAL INFORMATION.

Check the following items before proceeding with testing:

Check battery charge.
Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
Ensure transmission is fully engaged in Park or Neutral.
Check battery junction box fuse No. 113 (40-amp) and central junction box fuse No. 21 (15-amp).
On models equipped anti-theft system, ensure anti-theft system is operating properly. See appropriate ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT for additional information.
