Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the ignition coil. For additional information, refer to Ignition System.
2. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.







3. Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.







4. Remove the ECT sensor.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Fill the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding.
