Test 11: Traction Control Indicator Does Not Self-Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCS connector (C830). Turn ignition on. If TCS indicator illuminates, go to next step. If TCS indicator does not illuminate, see appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Turn ignition off. Reconnect TCS connector. Turn ignition on. If TCS indicator illuminates for 3 seconds and then turns off, TCS indicator is operating correctly. Test system for normal operation. If TCS indicator does not illuminate for 3 seconds and then turn off, replace TCS module. Test system for normal operation.
