Turn ignition on for 10 seconds. Turn ignition off. If ABS warning light is illuminated, replace ABS control module and go to next step. If ABS warning light does not illuminate, see appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  3. Check condition and resistance of AIR COND fuse (15-amp) in fuse panel. Connect scan tool. Turn ignition on. Check for any DTCs. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If DTCs exist, record all DTCs in order. Starting with first DTC recorded, go to ABS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  table under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
  4. If SYSTEM PASS and no DTCs were recorded, perform DRIVE CYCLE TEST . If SYSTEM PASS was obtained, but concern still exists, see INTERMITTENT FAILURES . If no response is obtained, go to TEST 9 .
