Removal & Installation

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Lifting from bottom of right "C" pillar safety belt guide cover, open cover. Remove upper safety belt bolt. Remove safety belt anchor bolt. Remove safety belt retractor bolt. Remove safety belt. Remove right rear door opening weather seal. Using trim stick, remove upper "C" pillar trim panel, then remove lower "C" pillar trim panel
  2. Disconnect Parking Aid Module (PAM) and parking aid speaker connectors. Remove parking aid speaker screws. Remove PAM screws. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten safety belt and retractor bolts to 25-33 ft. lbs. (34-45 N.m).
