Power Door Lock System & Remote Keyless Entry System: Programming: Transmitter
- Turn ignition switch from OFF position to RUN position 8 times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN position. If GEM has successfully entered program mode, GEM will lock and unlock all doors.
- Within 7.5 seconds, press any button on first RKE transmitter. Within 7.5 seconds, press any button on second RKE transmitter. Repeat process for third and fourth transmitter. All doors should lock and unlock to confirm each RKE transmitter has been programmed.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position to exit program mode or wait 5 minutes. If RKE transmitter has been programmed, GEM will lock and unlock all doors one last time. Try each RKE transmitter to verify programming.
