Abs Control Module: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure spring plate is properly positioned between ABS control module and HCU to avoid loss of ABS operation. See Figure. Ensure HCU mounting surface is clear of foreign material. DO NOT use chemical solvents on HCU.
- Use care when fitting ABS control module coils over HCU valve bodies. Use NEW ABS control module-to-HCU screws. Tighten screws in sequence to specification. See Figure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Check for gaps between ABS control module and HCU. Remove and retighten screws as necessary to specification. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
