Test F: Passenger's Front Power Window Inoperative
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Operate passenger's window from master window regulator control switch. If passenger's window is inoperative from master window regulator control switch, go to next step. If passenger's window is operative from master window regulator control switch, go to step 12 .
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect passenger's window motor 2-pin harness connector C608. Measure resistance between passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 1 (Red/White wire) and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to step 6 .
- Disconnect passenger's window regulator control switch 7-pin harness connector C600. Measure resistance between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 7 (White/Yellow wire) and ground. See Figure . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to step 5 .
- Disconnect master window regulator control switch harness connector C501. Measure resistance between master window regulator control switch harness connector C501 terminal No. 5 (White/Yellow wire) and passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 7 (White/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace master window regulator control switch. See WINDOW REGULATOR CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in White/Yellow wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Measure resistance between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 6 (Red/White wire) and passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 1 (Red/White wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace passenger's window regulator control switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Disconnect master window regulator control switch harness connector C501. Measure resistance between passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 1 (Red/White wire) and ground. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Red/White wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Disconnect master window regulator control switch harness connector C501. Measure resistance between passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 2 (Yellow/Red wire) and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to step 11 .
- Disconnect passenger's window regulator control switch 7-pin harness connector C600. Measure resistance between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 2 (Tan/Light Blue wire) and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to step 10 .
- Disconnect master window regulator control switch harness connector C501. Measure resistance between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 2 (Tan/Light Blue wire) and master window regulator control switch harness connector C501 terminal No. 4 (Tan/Light Blue wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace master window regulator control switch. See WINDOW REGULATOR CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Tan/Light Blue wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Measure resistance between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 3 (Yellow/Red wire) and passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 2 (Yellow/Red wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace passenger's window regulator control switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Yellow/Red wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Disconnect master window regulator control switch harness connector C501. Measure resistance between passenger's window motor harness connector C608 terminal No. 2 (Yellow/Red wire) and ground. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace passenger's window motor. See FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Yellow/Red wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect passenger's window regulator control switch 7-pin harness connector C600. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Measure voltage between passenger's window regulator control switch harness connector C600 terminal No. 4 (Light Blue/Black wire) and ground. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace passenger's window regulator control switch. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair power supply circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
