Description & Operation

  1. Window Regulator Control Switch

Driver's side window regulator control switch controls actuation of left and right side front door power window regulators and left and right side rear quarter-glass flip-out actuators (if equipped). First detent position of driver's window regulator control switch will cause front door window glass to move downward until window regulator control switch is released. Second detent position will express-open front door window glass. Passenger's side window regulator control switch controls actuation of passenger front door window regulator.
  2. One Touch Down Window Operation

One touch down driver's window feature is controlled by Front Electronic Module (FEM). When driver's window regulator control switch is actuated to express down position, FEM powers window regulator until window regulator control switch is actuated to a different position or FEM detects front door window glass is in full down position.
  3. Rear Quarter Window Glass

Left and right side rear quarter glass are an optional power flip-open design which is operated by driver utilizing master window regulator control switch.
  4. Heated Back Window Glass

Heated back window is controlled by Rear Electronic Module (REM), PCM and instrument cluster. System consists of REM, heated back window relay and heated back window switch (part of climate control assembly). Heated back window switch is a push button, spring-loaded to neutral position which turns system on or off. REM controls heated back window relay, which will turn off after approximately 10 minutes of operation or when button is pressed to OFF position.
  5. Delayed Accessory

Delayed accessory operation allows power windows and radio to operate for up to 10 minutes after ignition switch is turned to OFF position. Delayed accessory function is controlled by FEM. When ignition switch is turned from RUN to OFF position, FEM will begin timing sequence. If a door is opened or ignition switch is activated to another position, FEM will cancel delayed accessory operation.
