Trouble Shooting

Check the following items before proceeding with testing:

• Check battery for state of charge.
• Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
• Ensure transmission is fully engaged in Park or Neutral position.
• Check battery junction box fuses No. 105 (30-amp) and No. 19 (10-amp).
• On models equipped with anti-theft system, ensure anti-theft system is operating properly. Check fuse No. 9 (10-amp) in fuse junction panel. See PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS - WINDSTAR article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT for additional information.
