Oil Pan: Installation
- Clean all sealant material from oil pan and cylinder block. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to oil pan along inside of bolt holes. Install NEW oil pan gasket. Install oil pan and tighten bolts in sequence to specification. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten remaining bolts/nuts to specification. Fill crankcase with oil. Start engine and check for leaks.
