WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lincoln Mark LT and 2007 Ford Pickup. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
When the speed control system is activated the operator can maintain a selected vehicle speed between 48 and 200 km/h (30 and 124 mph) without pressing the accelerator pedal. The speed control does not work at speeds below 48 km/h (30 mph).
The vehicle speed control system consists of the following components:
- Speed control switch(es)
- Speed control deactivator switch
- Clutch pedal position (CPP) switch
- Stoplamp switch
- Speed control indicator
- Powertrain control module (PCM)
