Function Selector

Function selector knob, located on integrated control panel, controls air distribution. See Figure . The function selector knob operates 2 electrical switches to supply battery voltage to A/C clutch circuit and blower motor circuit and a vacuum selector valve to control vacuum motors which position airflow control doors inside the heater assembly. The position of these doors determines to which outlets air will be delivered. Six positions are available: OFF, panel, panel/floor, floor, floor/defrost, and defrost.
