Test D: SYTEM Does Not Charge
- Inspect drive belt condition and tension. If belt or tension are not okay, repair or replace as necessary and check system operation. If belt and tension are okay, go to next step.
- Perform GENERATOR NO-LOAD TEST under ON-VEHICLE TESTING. If voltage is less than specified, perform TEST B: CHARGE WARNING INDICATOR ON WITH ENGINE RUNNING . If voltage is as specified, check system for parasitic drain and repair as necessary.
